Our Story

      For over 30 years, our founder, Lucinda Marks, ran a beloved gift shop featuring her own handcrafted goods as well as her vintage treasures she collected over the years. However, she wanted to expand and touch the hearts of more individuals. Over five years ago, she moved to her current location in Shamokin Dam, bringing many longtime customers along while also welcoming new faces.       

      Currently, The Shops on Old Trail operates as a partnership among Lucinda, her daughter, Emily, and local vendors, with over 6,600 sq ft of product displays featuring antiques, collectibles, vintage finds, handmade crafts, and new home decor. We're proud to offer a warm, inviting environment where you can take your time, explore, and leave with a little something that brings you joy. If you're lucky, you may even run into her Shih Tzu, Ellie Mae!​
